The SA Politics Thread Part 3

It was the chance for anyone of those aggrieved to go to Orlando stadium to see the recipients and gather evidence to prove their case. Some of them even posted on Twitter about being appointed, Panyaza is so kind he is making it easy for the haters.

And what if the ANC councillors make it look like it's the ANC giving them jobs? I mean the DA even takes the credit for private sector jobs created in the Western Cape, what's the big deal? That's what politicians do.
Here's an explanation:
Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi has explained why 6,000 solar technician trainees were not appointed via e-mail, saying “people can take your appointment letter and give it to their friends”.
“We didn't want to issue appointment letters via e-mail because e-mails can be hijacked and taken to a wrong person. We didn't want to do it in the corners. We didn't want to do it in the offices because people can take your appointment letter and give it to their friends. We wanted to give it here [at the stadium], open to everyone.

And he's been punting digital transformation but, apparently doesn't even trust email.

“When we appoint in our offices, we are accused of lack of transparency and appointing the politically connected. When we are transparent and open, we are accused of grandstanding.”

Eish, bathong...
Ke kgomo ya moshate...
Wenzeni Panyaza, why so much hatred?

Still have never heard of this person before. At least a deputy chairperson position is a more fitting role for a complete nobody.

Funny af. When they were invited, they cried "DA Big Brother"...

I think there'll be two major blocs/coalitions going into the elections vs. ANC:

The Moderate Constitutionalists (Your Moonshot okes) vs. The Far-Left Populists (EFF, ATM, AZAPO, UDM, etc.)

That's what I am thinking as well, question is what happens when both groups have their vote, which in each case won't be enough to do anything.
