Ousted IFP mayor Albert Mncwango has vanished with two flashy state-owned vehicles after allegedly refusing to return them after being toppled from office in the Nongoma Local Municipality in KwaZulu-Natal.

Mngcwango was ousted through an ANC-EFF no-confidence motion in late June.

The incumbent Speaker, ANC councillor Abongile Sithole, told News24 she had been hounding Mncwango to hand over a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and a Toyota double-cab Legend 50 that had been used to drive him around.

Why can't some of you just admit the obvious that the DA will turn a blind eye to IFP corruption since it is an important alliance partner? Rather just admit than deflect.
