Exactly. Maybe an uptick by ASA seeing that they have Mangope of Boputhatswana's son as ASA NW leader (they still need to be tested in NW), so they could have a Buthelezi factor there.

Well, if it's 70%...

NW: 61%
LM: 75%
MP: 70.5%

That's where ANC stands according to 2019 results.
Going by their losses in NW and their minimal losses in LM and MP since 2021... I don't think they'll get 70% or above 67% for that matter in those provinces.

What do you reckon Mangope's son in ActionSA could do to the ANC that his father could not manage with his UCDP?

North West is way more civilised than KZN, Buthelezi factor is not going to work there.

His father was not the most beloved leader, he was a cruel dictator who ruled with an iron fist, I am sure just like all dictators he would have his people but his party did not even put a blip in the ANC's support, remember after the fall of the homelands the IFP actually won in KZN unlike Mangope's party which was a non starter, that's how different the two provinces are.

It's basically starting from scratch for ActionSA, Kwena could have been a different surname, it wouldn't make a difference.
