Who says they won't just go back to the ANC / EFF?
 
Really can't see what the attraction is to MK.

If you are unhappy with the ANC you could just withhold your vote.

Now you've both destroyed the party you're leaving, and going to another party because why?

Just looking at the path of the ANC when they don't have the levers of power, they fall apart... Also I'd hazard a guess they couldn't fund themselves.

The EFF will appeal to some of them yes but probably not too many.

There is a chance that the MK could reinvent itself to divest the Jacob personality cult but that is something only time will tell

Chris Barnard couldn't do a heart transplant cleaner.
Only in this case it's more like he did it while on a meth bender, and he's leaving the unwilling donor with an artificial heart, and transplanting the trafficked heart into a lame duck who paid him to do it with folksy song and dance.
Fun times.
 
Okay 92% done for NC and ANC not over 50% yet.

Will we see the ANC loose control of three provinces in one election?

Rarely somebody who's so true to his name (if nothing else). He'd probably struggle to smile if he couldn't do somebody, anybody, harm. I think he's been trying to live down to it his entire life. Probably thinks it's cool. i.e. The worst kind of edge lord.
 
And what happens when 82 year old uBaba kicks the bucket?

Let's hope so.

Today I went to work at one of the biggest DA run public provincial hospitals in the DA led province.

The elevator has been broken for ages, I took the stairs. (I should have taken a picture). There was a massive ass queue for basic meds like panado and ibuprofen at 8am.

I had to work in a room where the overhead room light barely works because they cannot order a simple replacement light bulb. The dental chair is stuck in one position and the dental light doesn't work. This makes working impossible and I am a tall guy. These problems were reported months ago.

I deal with specialised cases like oral cancers. How am I supposed to see anything- I just try with my cellphone light sometimes. I did biopsies and sutured today under impossible situations, waiting for assistants because that place is understaffed. I had to move a patient off the chair because there was still blood splatter from someone else's patient who didn't wipe down the chair probably.

And this is not the only Western Cape public health facility I work at. The others have even worse horror stories.
