Scheduled meeting between the ANC, DA fails to happen

So, it is pretty clear the DA will not be part of the new government. This will be a good thing and may save the party come next elections.
But who do the ANC go with then? I thought they need a larger party. MK Eff?

That will be the only way they will get a majority vote. So, CR may also be unemployed by the end of this week.

Would help if you read more than one line.
The ANC was engaged in internal meetings, and engagements with alliance partners.
ANC is preparing the noisemakers for the inevitable...

The Constitutional Court on Wednesday night dismissed an urgent application by former president Jacob Zuma's MK Party to interdict Parliament from electing a new president on Friday.
The court ruled against MK Party on three grounds: it was not in the court's jurisdiction to hear the case; it was not in the interest of justice to grand direct access because MKP "self-created" urgency, and there was no merit in the application as MK Party has failed to show "it will suffer irreparable harm if the interdict is not granted".
The court said the MK Party did not adduce facts to support its claim that the election result was manipulated.

I don't know. Tito isn't Malaysian so why go there? Why not study in SA?

It's not like Malaysian has a more prestigious university. I geuss I can respect him for not going to Havard or someone left leaning western shíthole.
Which university isn't a "left leaning shthole"? All prestigious universities are left leaning shtholes as far as I understand.

I don't see any media confirmation of this. Is this the DA really allowing this populist clown to continue wrecking Gauteng? He's only a legend in his own lunchbox.
Haven't seen anything official. But depending on the deal, I'm sure the DA's position would be to support the ANC's candidate, as long as he knows his place and distances himself from RET...

Looks like RISE is also in on the GNU, on eNCA now Gana is saying they have agreed in principle and are avoiding a situation where the first seating fails to elect the President and a Speaker, as that could create a vacuum that could be exploited by opportunists.
So it's money well spent for the Oppenheimers?
