Nvm, game, set, match to GNU 2:

uMkhonto Wesizwe, the party that won 45% of the votes in KZN has been trumped in its bid to control the provincial legislature.


41 MPLs in the 80-member legislature voted for the ANC’s Ntobeko Boyce as Speaker. MK’s Mervyn Dirks received 39 votes.


The victory sets the tone for the outcome of the vote for the premier and control of the provincial government.
