Also we've seen how Twitter is such a good representation of the "average" South African, be it Black/White/Indian/Purple/Green.

The perception is the DA is a white party with black people. The DA then goes and proves them right by nominating a white speaker.

I'm looking at the leadership of the DA. Steenhuizen, Winde, the CPT mayor. The Premier of the WC should be coloured or the Mayor. Is it that hard to find a black speaker in the DA? The DA needs to use this opportunity to break the stigma of its all white leadership. We will have this discussion again when the DA nominates its cabinet candidates.
