He has some point. The ANC of Rama knows they need the DA, because if that fails, Rama will be ousted and Mashatile will probably take place.

Then grand RET coalition with EFF/ MK.

Something which everyone wants to avoid.

159 + 17 + 9 + 6 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 199. I included BOSA, RISE (the ones that said they will never coalesce with ANC) and GOOD just for laughs.

199 is less than 200 seats + 1 seat.

Now what arrogance are you talking about?

I never thought it would be tricky, it's not about the truck, the picture of Lekota or the workers loading the stuff into the truck, it's about the fact that Lekota held on until the end to see COPE dying in his hands.

He was Cope without him it wouldn't have lasted this long. If his fellow party members didn't stab him in the back they could have done better.

We know what we’re trying to avoid but the ANC don’t need the DA to oust Ramaphosa. That’s an internal matter and can be easily swung in parliament without DA support.

What you guys fail to comprehend is that even within Ramaphosa’s ANC the EFF is still the more palatable partner in comparison to the DA.

ANC/EFF/IFP easily form a government. Especially now that Julius has backed down from his previous demands. All he wants now is the DA out and deputy speaker so be careful what you wish for or what supporting the DA’s hard line may result in.

All this obviously means is that the IFP lose governance of KZN.
