Anyone know the backstory behind why Big Daddy Liberty turned to Judaism? Was it because of marriage?

I've noticed he isin't wearing his Yamulka anymore and he recently experienced a tragedy after he lost his daughter.

Not many people convert to Judaism compared to the other Abrahamic faiths and Judaism does not encourage conversion.

He was ANC previously. Left around 2009 to join COPE along with some Mbeki-aligned ANC members who were unhappy with uBaba leading before he made his way to the DA.

He will be accepted back but the trust to him won't be the same as it was before.

Yeah, for now his job is to explain to our people how dangerous it is to vote for the DA.

BDL was very practicing and observant and wore it in literally every video. IIRC, he also mentioned he was angry at God after he lost his daughter recently.
