City Hall in Durban progressing nicely and people there are in high spirits, singing and dancing the night away, unlike those illiterates in Thokoza.

The IEC has reportedly taken measures to make sure no people are added onto the already existing queue.

‘Sick and tired of being sick and tired’ — SA casts critical votes

Katleho Twala, who was waiting in line at the Jan Shoba Street and Duxbury Road voting station in Hatfield, Pretoria said that he was cautiously optimistic. The young voter, wrapped in a South African flag, said that he joined the queue at 7:30 am, just after voting stations opened and was still waiting to make his mark when Daily Maverick spoke to him at 12:30.

“I’m not going to leave the queue before I vote and I don’t see anybody else leaving the queue either. We are here for change,” Twala said.

Dawie should give out a turnout number with that many people still in the queue just so that @The_Right_Honourable_Brit can have sweet dreams.

Given how uncertain this election is, lets hope Brit wakes up in sound mind tomorrow and does not get a shock when he looks at the screen. One would think he would have been the guy giving the updates based on how passionate he is about politics.

I know why he is acting this way, the mercenaries have kicked the door down in the Independent Republic.

Busy watching eNews and a lot of the people in the Braamfontein queue are either wearing EFF or ANC attire - not looking great from that point of view.

So you'd rather people who are voting for the ANC or the EFF not vote while you vote for your chosen party?

That is not how democracy works.

Where did I say they rather not vote? I was making an observation that ANC and EFF seem to be getting a lot of the late votes in Braamfontein, which is not great from the point of view of a person who would not want ANC or EFF in power. It has absolutely nothing to do with taking their right to vote away wtf

If it was vice versa and the party you would like in power's supporters were there this late, you were going to have wet dreams correct?

Same thing, you're just saying it with more words.

It's not surprising that the ANC and EFF's supporters are mainly poor and from low income households hence why maybe to them it's do or die even if it means bracing the bitter cold.

Learn to be politically tolerant.

Shock and horror that I want my party to do better than the kak that has destroyed this country. That doesn't make me politically intolerant. You're saying we can't have a preference for who we want people to vote for - then what is the point in wanting your party to win?

You have been shamefully discriminatory towards me by saying I don't want people to have the chance to vote. I never said such a thing. Putting words in my mouth, no surprise though as it's obvious that destroying the country is what gives you wet dreams.
