The vast majority of SA's logistics goals relies on KZN actually functioning unfortunately and that would be the desperation to keep MK out of power.

We'll use the other ports and reorganise the logistics, even if there's some short term pain.

But this populist threat needs to be eliminated once and for all in the long term for the entire country...
 
It is a sad day when parties with 1 seat start dictating the terms to benefit themself instead of doing what is good for the province.

To be honest everyone is doing things to benefit themselves, so we shouldn't be too harsh on the small parties, the only difference is that big parties are able to pull it off without raising eyebrows and they also have the luxury of making it look like they are bigger people by letting something go and then gaining it on the other side. See how there is a shakedown at local government? Some party is going to lose something at national and gain something at local government.

And I don't get the criticism of 'wasting your vote on a small party'. The DP was once a less than 2%'r in 1994.
