Secretary to Parliament Xolile George hands Didiza the results.

Didiza says 339 ballot papers were issued. 338 ballots were counted. There were 12 invalid ballots - 11 spoilt and one that was issued but stamped on both sides.

Zungula got 54 votes. Lotriet got 273 votes. The DA and ANC, IFP are standing and applauding.

She says the Sixth Parliament concluded the Phala Phala impeachment matter.

How can they impeach someone who hasn't yet been elected president?

They should toss it out on that basis alone...
