Maybe people got caught in the United Front fever and thought their common hatred for the ANC would make them agree on everything, which was of course a very simple attitude.
Naturally, they won't agree on everything.
DA and its supporters seems taken aback that it's possible that ActionSA could agree with EFF or the ANC on some things in principle, there is nothing scandalous about that
The EFF might be understandable to a point, but if your friend in the fight against corruption is the ANC of all people... Then like Hermann said, your credibility is moer toe.
It's truly getting hot in the United Front kitchen.
Yeah, as we've agreed on, the firefights between DA and ASA will probably worsen towards 2024. Seeing that ASA wants to unseat the DA and wreck them, while DA wants to kerb stomp ASA.

And isn't that the problem, when exactly did they become friends? When they voted with the DA to remove the ANC in a number of municipalities? You just said yourself that they won't agree on everything, so what if ASA happens to hold the same opinion as the ANC, quickly abandon it the minute they realise even when it's a principled stance because some Hermann and the DA will accuse them of being friends with the ANC?

I honestly have no words to explain just how stupidly childish that argument is.

Childish? Really? You're resorting to ad hominem?

You don't think that teaming up with the ANC, who by-the-by committed State Capture and have perfected the art of corruption, is a bit stupid and looks weird? Perhaps "friend" is not the right term.
But if you're going to band together with the ANC of all people to fight alleged corruption, IDK what to say either.

Yes, very childish, and no, no adhominem.

You seem very determined, ActionSA are not teaming up with anyone, no idea when agreeing with someone on something automatically made you a team, I have agreed with some people I despise on this forum that I would never be caught alive teaming up with.

You are perhaps deliberately missing the point when you want to insist i am attacking you personally but that argument is the same one that's used by a child when their friend doesn't take they side, they sulk and accuse the other of being friends with so and so.

We have sadly reached an impasse. GG WP

Honestly, I think the DA should make him their Premier candidate for 2024 in KZN. He's quite popular with the people there and he's getting **** done. It would be stupid not to.

And we need to see more instances of this in SA, where people of different cultures participate in the events of others' cultures.

Didn't he say he doesn't want the job and would rather stay local where he can make a difference?

Yeah, if I remember correctly, he mentioned that he wouldn't go after it himself. But I still think it would be good if DA convinced him to do it.
