Well we could only really judge that if we had sight of the turnaround plan... I don't have high regard for the competence of our comms minister though...
 
That diesel leak a while back through the top floors at Auckland Park was not big enough. Somebody forgot to pull a match or whatever is needed , and make some effort to ignite that diesel.

The so called popular soccer league has an average. viewing of 7500 per soccer match. Its not the UEFA champions league that would generate revenue. Also a lot of the tv viewers during that period are from the poorer viewership group. So advertising doesny target them correctly. Its more beneficial to advertise during isidingo. Stats proves this.

I think the premier league needs to rethink their marketing plan. DSTV used to sell the psl to SABC for that price. So they used to pass on the costs. But now they wont be able to. So I think the next bidding for the PSL would be much lower.
 
The PSL is at least 50% of the problem. The decision of the SABC was spot on. A proper evaluation of the revenue earning potential measured against the costs, leads to a sound decision and the SABC Board and Management get criticised? Where is the logic?
