So its me again, totally right in being sceptical. Just got a call from home again, the technician who was there now is once again leaving and will be back in the morning at 8:30. He thought it was a software problem on the modem, went and got another new one(2nd new modem since firday now, still don't believe there was anything wrong with the original). Line still isn't working. He doesn't know what it is.
