They don't really make spoof movies anymore. They should.

There was Scary Movie recently but that's about it I think anyway. Forgot about Austin Powers, but is that in the same category as The Naked Gun?

Airplane was brilliant and still holds up.

Of course Leslie Nielsen is the King of Spoof, IMO anyway.

As much as I would have liked a Spaceballs 2, I don't think a new one will measure up to the original.

Like, I also want a Dogma 2, but it will be an abomination.

I can be surprised, but your audience then aren't the same audience as today. Movies like this today, they will employ shock therapy.

The "movies" series killed off the spoof movies, there is a new Naked Gun coming out soon as well. Austin Powers isn't really a spoof movie, it's much like Johnny English a comedic spy movie.
