The Shroom Thread

I can't believe I haven't seen this thread before. Been growing on and off for about 15 years now, time to get another batch on the go I think! Will do Burmas on popcorn, then grain transfer to bulk popcorn bags before finally mixing with vermiculite and spreading into trays and then giving a light casing layer of verm on top (rez-effect).

Unfortunately, I only have this edit of my last grow, lost all my pics on my external drive.

I'm suspicious about what is in those shots... Could very well be a few drops of synthetic psilocin. I'd much rather grind up some dried shrooms in a coffee grinder and soak it myself in lemon juice (or something stronger).

I suspect synthesized psilocin would be a lot more expensive than growing, but I hear you regarding using known feedstock...

Last time I was offered "liquid shrooms" I don't recall it being expensive.

I grew a tub of grey oysters and then forgot the harvested mushrooms in the fridge.
When I eventually got them out there was a smell which i did not trust so I only fried a small piece in butter with pepper.
It was delicious.

Time for another tub.

I read somewhere that psilocin is actually pretty easy to synthesize. But mescaline is difficult to synthesize, which is why drug dealers don't really go for it. Its expensive to make and people won't really pay that much for it.

EDIT: When I say easy, I mean easy in comparative terms! I certainly could not synthesize it, but I suppose the point is that someone with the right training would not find psilocin too difficult to make. Mescaline on the other hand uses expensive raw materials (unless you extract it from cacti which is obviously non synthetic).

Or something like that.
