The small things that you love/hate about a car

Interesting thought Roux! I have wondered this myself too! For me the top 3 that i want in a car (Little things):

- Fog Lights (Front)
- Seats that are low in comparison to the top of the door panel and good side support from them (Keep me in place when going around bends)
- Full size spare wheel
 
Seatbelt buzzers - I hate those things. Sounds like the nagging of an irritating child that gets hysterical when you keep on ignoring it. Why not just provide a pleasant ding-ding to remind you and leave it at that?

Love a car with auto-on/off headlights.
 
Like:
- Doors that lock automatically when you start moving.
- Radio controls on the steering wheel
- Automatic lights on/off

Unfortunately my car has none of the above. :(

Dislike:
- Single reverse light
- Seatbelt buzzer

Fortunately my car has none of the above either. :)

Because you are less likely to die with your seatbelt on. Guess you don't value your life much.
 
My main concern with a car is reliability.

Small things though,

Easy access to any user/intermediate serviceable parts.
Top break light.
Fog lights.
Decent wipers.
What Rouxenator said.

That is all.
 
Just what is this fixation of fog lights?
I've never, ever felt the need to make use of them. AFAIK when you put on the foggers, you should have parking lights on.
Never should you have head lamps and fogs on at the same time.
Real foggers should have YELLOW lamps to penetrate the mist!!!!!

I choose a tjorrie with a full sized spare, a cam driven by a chain instead of a belt and most important: A sound resale value.

I prefer a small turning circle and low revs in top gear.

I live on a plot.
No street lights and plenty bends along with a shebeen right around the corner make driving at night even with floods a little hairy.
Turn them off if there are other cars anywhere in sight though (hate the inconsiderate bastards that don't).
