The Spread and Topping Thread

just had a piece of bak brood with peanut butter on but a no name brand peanut butter but it filled the gap.

Cross and Blackwell Sandwich spread is delicious but don't let it turn yellow in the fridge:sick:

Marg is toxic in all its forms- butro, rama, stork, whatever. It's even more toxic when cooked.
Read up on trans fats.
In case you peeps didn't know, as Pooky says, it's not far off from melted coke bottles (which incidently also make those nice fleecy tops and blankets everyone wears)

I'm partial to slices of Normandy Brie/camembert and
any cheeses from Fairview- especially the cream cheese pepper rolls. (i'll drive out to get the offcuts of others at cheaper than store prices)
I love hartlief Gold pate on toast
Anchovette on toast
Poor mans chili relish on toast
Branston Pickle and cheddar slices on toast
Melissas seville orange marmalade on hot buttered toast
Roses lime and Orange marmalades on hot buttered toast
Salmon roe on toast (big orange ones)
Black Lumpfish (Poor mans caviar) on Toast.
 
Do they only sell in NY? :D
Ill keep eyes open for it in DC / Florida come November... Hey - maybe I'll mail you a bottle ;)
Going on holiday? I'm pretty sure you can get it at various shops around the country. :)

I'll let you know where to send it :D Come to think of it my mother might be coming over here around then for a visit . . . .
 
thanks all i will look in the shops to see what they have, i believe their bread stays fresh for long but when my ther 2 daughters went last year theycould not handle the food. thank goodness our son in law there is a chef so i hope to eat something hmm hmm hmmm
