IIRC Sentech invested something like 600 million in MW. R150000 per customer

I had a good laugh at this :-

Sentech will introduce new and cheaper, but slower, packages at the low end, as well as faster but more expensive options for people who require more bandwidth.

Err, Marcel, anything slower than 4.7k per second int. on your old "128" package and you'll look just a little bit foolish - oh wait, you already do ! - silly me !

WBS, which says it has learnt lessons from Sentech's mistakes, will launch commercially within the next few weeks. Telkom executives say privately that they view WBS as more of a competitive threat than Sentech.

Hmmm - from what I've read on the forums, while it does appear better than Sentech, there's some major problems and I haven't seen much response from WBS recently over here - what happened to Shaun Green ? - is he still posting and participating ?
