The Starfield thread

Inasmuch no movie is 10/10, no game is either unless god herself made it, came down to earth and installed it.

I miss realistically scored games and not reeeee skyrim reeee 5 reee out reeeee of reeeee 5 reeeee

IGN has been a joke for a while. Surprised they didn't complain 'too much space'

The big media guys seem to be giving it ok scores whereas more independent folks seem to be more positive

Well the one guy I trust (Morphologis) told me exactly what I wanted to know without trying to sugar coat it.

That is, I need to cancel my copy of Real Life.

Scores don't matter, what is there is gonna keep me entertained for a while.

"Too much space"

Wait... What if all that space triggered painful breakup memories for that journo, cause their ex wanted more space...

The comments of the fans crack me up:

Loved that game and Descent. Totally different genre of game that's disappeared.

Without spoiling it for myself I just googled "Starfield review" and could see dozens of headlines and in most cases the scores...
Not reading a single one until I'm playing.

Many PC sites giving it sevens or seven point five. But loads of other gaming or tech sites scoring 8 and up. Quite a few 5/5 as well.

PC okes are hard to please after BG3, lol.
I've seen one of those 3/5 reviews:

"I’m disappointed to discover that Bethesda has opted for a meager selection of nine skin tones, and the textured hair on offer is both limited and fairly underwhelming. Additionally, while I can opt for gender-neutral pronouns, the inclusion of a neopronoun or two would’ve been the perfect opportunity for Bethesda to lean into Starfield’s vision of a utopian and inclusive future within the intimate space of character creation."

It's 5/5 for me if it didn't cater enough for the woke gender a-holes...

Added to wishlist
