The Starfield thread

I spent the weekend being a corporate shill. I was glad to shed the suit and don the six guns again. If I never attend another in game board meeting it will be too soon. sheesh...

but., at level 30 and 500k makes credits a non issue... i think.

content to go ship shopping across the galaxy, and building. Starship design ranks is my goal this week.

LvL 25 with 500K+ and running with Shieldbreaker. (Looting "whore" with maxed-out weightlifting, Commerce & O2 FTW) Lets just say that NPC man skid with the barista was me x 100

Also planning to focus on Starship design, outpost, and research before I venture on in the storyline.

Hope you looted that place empty including the 2 armor sets?
Wasn't much too loot as apparently I am not an expert in opening safes. Gonna have to return there someday. I think I got some armor sets. Couldn't carry much more than all the desk fans, pens, notebooks, screwdrivers, ductape and sandwhiches.....

Lockpicking is a must. 85% of the goodness is behind locks.

Can always use a "mule"

Bring team mate tell him to wait at the ship and offload loads of nonessential goodies on them, note do not give them anything you wanna keep cause they do sometimes bug out.

Outposts & research & building is very addictive, and infuriating. My OCD cant deal. Gotta get those placements. build this....aaargh I need ????

Looking forward to the many inevitable QOL updates.

NO. STOP IT @RedViking
Tis a waste of time for the effort. imo

Later.. when your ship/base built, find the arb stuff you want for decorations. Looting weapons/suits are enough for selling

I don't think they bug out. Even in space people are just unreliable and don't take pride in their work or professional relationships. That's why I tag them along. Give them a nice gun and. Chuck them in a room full of enemies. Close the door and wait till they stopped screaming.

There's a couple of places at the lodge where you can store unlimited crap...

So I bought the 'Penthouse' on Neon for 225 000 creds thinking it's going to be decked out with an Amazing view of the city, etc

Don't

It's a tiny open plan flat that doesn't even have a bedroom. No furnishings which means you need to deck it out with the limited amount of colony furnishings you can build

What a let down

Is it possible to strip down the Star Eagle and rebuild it when you have design and piloting ranks?

If only I can put one of them on me or my ship :p
Yeah it's a bit inconvenient to keep going there, but you can just fast travel from the map without having to get into your ship. It'll at least help in the early part until you get a better ship...

Also, not sure what all you guys are storing that you need all this storage space. Resources should be used for research, weapon and spacesuit upgrades and outpost building if you do that. Otherwise sell.

Weapons and armour can be kept but realistically, you won't use the early game stuff for all that long. It is nice to have a collection though, I suppose.
