The Starfield thread

Oooh and got new guns to play with, testing them out and adding some mods. Can't remember what they are called but one had both physical and laser damage but only a mag of 6. Need to look into research to try improve that, was used to the 50 magazine on my grendel.
The Big Bang. That thing is a beast. Fully upgraded it's a monster and extremely effective against bots.

yes! that's it. It was very fun to use and only needed 1 or 2 shots so guess the mag limit is okay.
It loves popping skulls. I also would have preferred 12 rounds but I guess they have to keep it somewhat balanced.

Va'ruun Pistol + Rifel is all you ever need.

/me  Starshard & Inflictor

Edit:Just took Mantis last night... again on a fresh NG+ and one shotting NPC's was a lot easier than my 1st time with normal weapons.

Avatar?

On what NG+ was that cause I am on 1st NG+ so not getting Pro weapons yet.
My Advanced Inflictor only hits for 100 normal and 400 EM per shot. (Semi automatic)
Yep. I don't remember where I got it, might have been a quest reward. It's also fully upgraded, those aren't stock stats. Are your weapons all fully upgraded?

Finally switched to the main quest line over the weekend as I did not have much else to do
I totally understand now why loads of people said don't rush the main quest.

That final part where you "reflect" on your life could be seriously empty if you rushed the 1st play-through. Also makes it kinda of hard to decide if you wanna become Starborn. At least I have a save game just before entering so going into the light was a no brainer.
I found the ending to be a bit of a let down. At first I thought it was cool because they explained how the decisions impacted things. But it was so brief. It was pretty much "oh X happened because you chose Y". Then you move onto the next group and hear their brief thoughts. Kind of wonder if they hit some time constraints when they worked on that.

With all the crap I did before NG+ I am kind of glad it was abbreviated. As I had to walk in a wide circle to get all the stories. Also glad I did not know about it before I entered so was kind of nice +

I'm finally making some progress in Starfield! Can't be bothered with ship building so bought the Narwhal. Getting into the Ranger quests which are cool, bit of main questing and then occasionally distracted by something shiny on the way to something that seems important. Now level 36.
Just arrived in Akila for the first time myself and met the Rangers. Busy exploring the city and getting totally lost with no map.

So far only been to New Atlantis, Cydonia (hate it there) and Akila. Mainly focusing on the main quest with a bunch of side quests/tasks/distractions inbetween. Currently only level 17 :)

I keep getting caught with contraband. Need to figure out where to sell it before they scan my ship. Don't think I've found someone or somewhere for that yet

Have you picked up the "Secret Outpost" datapad yet? It should drop early in the game from random spacers you kill.

If you have and you have the quest - prioritise it. ;)

Not sure, will check tomorrow. Picked up plenty of datapads and have plenty of quests waiting to be completed :)

Ok fine, sounds like I'll have to check out Secret Outpost next then when I'm done exploring Akila. If I have the datapad that is, don't know yet..
