But that IS a looter shooter with RPG tacked on.

RPG is not just checking the checkboxes and multiplication its coherently checking them and adding freedom instead of just ubiosofting it.
 
To put my postings into context for the fanboys that are irrationally attacking my criticism.

I want to like the game, but have been burnt with the hamfisted insult to RPG's (ignoring the crypto wokeness that was so hamfisted it was bleh) that FO4 was.... simple as that. It was not even THAT good a shooter, I literally had to add ridiculous overpower mods to make the game any kind of real challange and that only lasts about two thirds of the base game at best.

I WANT to believe Starfield is better and not worse.... I just have not seen any indication of this yet.

Guess I am canceling the GamePass install and installing via Steam instead.

Edit: Oh wait now I remember, I bought it waaay back on my crappy old Gen2 i3 & 1050, game ran like crap so I skipped it.
