The Starfield thread

I just find it interesting that you can refund the game after finishing it. Apparently it's because it's either early access or because you pre-ordered, which i guess is the same thing.

Am i the only one that's been hijacking ecliptic ships and selling them off at a small profit
How exactly do you do that?
Fought off some attacking ships, but ended up destroying them every time.. Is there a way to somehow see when to cease firing?

Buy the targeting system skill

Then target the engines, you should get a pop up saying crit on crew or crit on engines then you can board the ship and take it for yourself
Then just dock in NA, Neon or Akila register the ship then sell it

Granted this doesn't always work if the ship is too low level, i end up destroying 99% of the ships i encounter now

I know of people that did that and got away with it with Cyberpunk

Cyberpunk was an exception. It was not bound by normal refund procedures.

I finished the game 2.5 times and refunded it. On PSN. Took 2 days.

Was no exploit. Sony said I can. So I did. My system crash log was like 17 pages long. It was literally a hazard to the system.

There's apparently a quite nice Mantis ship and RNG suite of armor you can get if you do the spacer hidden base mission.

Spoiler / walkthru (the tip about saving before grabbing the suit is good though)

Also, first moment at a temple was just wow.
I got the Mantis ship and outfit quite recently, and it just reminded how absurd it is that Starfield doesn't have a functional transmog system built into the spacesuit research desk.

Seeing as you're more or less forced to wear your best available gear, it would be awesome to reskin it to your best looking gear. There's even an option for doing so in the spacesuit research desk, but it's basically just a waste of menu space for me. Such a missed opportunity.

I'd probably keep the Mantis suit indefinitely if not for how quickly its stats become outdated.

That suit is very cool

There is an easier way. Land on random planets. Wait for other ships to land close by. Engage with them and kill them then take the ship. easy peasy. Make sure none of your crew is with, they will hate you for it, unless you are taking on enemies. Ship below I took off enemies.

Imagine no one giving platform.
"rant"/"opinion" becomes pointless.

Now re-imagine people reposting this kak...
He has a platform already and no doubt hanger onners galore.

The reply repost was just to show that people indeed are way to invested emotionally in things to the point where a couple of extra choices when customising your char causes the person to stroke out during a live stream.

Done that twice. Rushed the ship as it lands. Then kills them as they get out. But the inside door was locked both times. Didnt loot a key(??) from the bodies either. Are some ships just like that? Pilot locks the inside door, lol.

I hung around inside the hatch for a while to see if someone would eventually come out... then the pilot took off and closed the ramp. Up in the sky I was jettisoned out of the ship and fell to the ground. Luckily made it. Crazy, lol. Love this game.

Wil give it a try. On level 1 now of that particular skill.

Some ships are I think. I've come across derelicts that... so far as I know, you can't fix. God the one was of a group of people who had been hit by pirates and left without food. Needing to repair their drive they sent out guys, one died - and then some of em ate him.
