It's quite simple with Pandora. If you don't have one, it's best you find someone who does have one and who knows how to operate it.

But, many people who flashed their Xbox 360 and had a breakdown simply sent their console in and got a replacement, no hassles. I'm not saying it will work for you 100%, but if you don't want the hassle of finding someone with a pandora (plus paying him for his services) than it's worth a try.

Yea i have made and used a pandora but how is that gonna work with the psp not being able to read the memory stick for the "magic memory stick" part of the firmware change?

Ah, good point.

In that case you could try to find a way to go back to Original Firmware without Pandora or MMS.

Although, I would rather take it to some professionals to have the psp fixed. I would suggest velusion in boksburg. Excellent service.
 
I just got Crisis Core yesterday and I must say it's the best psp game I have so far. I traded in my wipeout pulse for it. No regrets.

It's my first Final Fantasy though, but if it's representative of the others then I might make a plan to get them.

At first the combat really irritated me. Generally if it's an rpg and isn't turn based I stray away from it. Good thing I didn't with Crisis Core though. The combat has grown on me.

The missions are addictive, as is the story itself. This has been the first game is ages to really grab me. I played it for about seven hours last night. Even played a bit this morning before work.

I know I've got FFVII for pc somewhere around here. Must just find it. I watched my brother play it a while ago and the GFX really put me off it. Will have to see if I can get into it though. If it's as good as what people say it is the GFX shouldn't matter.

Does anyone know if the pc version supports the x360 controller?

I need to find that out as well.
 
I too am looking for FFVII, well, I've got it but when I lent my copy out, the disc 2 got scratched. So now I need another copy and then I can play it on my psp!

I have downgraded to 1.5 firmware and downloaded the 4.01 firmware, what do I do now?
 
Ok so now I have 4.01m33, how to I get backed up games to work ( I copied it from my own UMD so it's all legal). Also how to I get the GBA and PS1 emmulators to work?
 
Do I create one ?
I have a .iso file of MX. VS. ATV

I put it in X: GAME -> ISO -> The ISO of MX. VS .ATV

It just says "corrupted data" on the Psp
 
I've used a few copies and its also with the GBA Emu. How should I lay the homebrew stuff out?

For all the new wannabe PSP hackers of the future, check out this little tutorial on getting your PSP custom firmwared.

I downloaded the package that was put together, and you can custom your PSP up to 4.01 M33-2 with this package, you will still need to download the official firmwares that need to be placed in the subsequent directories.

Quick and easy, and you can make a Magic Memory stick without a custom PSP, though you will still need a Pandora battery.

I have used this one on two PSP's, a Fat and a Slim without any problems.
