Pandora Battery

Go read on LAN.ST regarding the "Pandora battery". You'll see that this is not based nowadays on rumours. Just about every PSP homebrew site is now displaying this info.

*sigh* Did you even bother reading the linked website? Or are you basing your opinion on the fact that you fancy yourself an expert on the subject of PSP hacking?

The software modifies the battery and loads an image onto the mem stick. Every wondered what the extra pin on your PSP battery is for? Yes...This is the EXACT same way that Sony fixes full bricks

1) Try to avoid making baseless claims next time. I'm sure the creators of the downgraders/custom firmwares who were involved in this project know a little more than you do.
2) If your PSP is already bricked...what risk do you foresee in using it?

firstly,by buddy,i never said anything about how good i am ,And secondly how old are you,and thirdly, this what you are saying is true but once again i knew about this type of thing months ago(speculation),I just wanna say if i was wrong in what i said,i am sorry, but it will happed again.Dont test me boy.i wil %$^%^ you up.....JUST KIDDING HEY.
I was browsing this forum on my cell so i am sorry if i did not read the link. But i still stand with not using it on a semi brick psp.

Lt me do some reseach and i will get back on this subject

Quite right...you didn't say it. But if you were ready to dismiss it without reading the facts then you were implying it.

As did many people. One look at eBay and you'll see kits being sold using the team's leaked code.

Apparently the above vid shows it in action.

jojima,my bad,now for a lesson in irshell 3.6...I cant the F$%K connect to nethostfs via adhoc.

Another thing kevin tell me have you ever thought of making the psp compatible for windows vista sidebar.I think its a cool idea via usb.
If you running vista you would know what i am talking about.
I am gona search the net tonight to see if anyone has come up with source code for this.

I repaired this one psp.the square button was jammed.Just a hint for those that have a problem with the [] button.just loosed the face plate, look at the rubber sponge on the edges of the screen, you will see a indentation looks like a arc,put a piece of double sided tape on it,only a small pierce, then you good to go.

dablakmark8, need your help. i have a psp, thought it was bricked, but it still does not come on with the unbricker battery.
the power comes on and it reads the memory stick.
what else could it be. do the screens on psp's go dead?

What is the most stable version Dark Alex custom firmaware, as the version I am using 3.something, not all my ISO's work with.

dablakmark8, i got the psp thinking it was bricked, but i actually think the screen is dead. if i do the unbricker, the memory card does flash like it should, so the psp is fine, just nothing showing on the screen.
ill take it apart this weekend and see if its maybe a lose connection somewhere.
hopefully it is.
i have done a few unbricks, cant believe how easy it is.

cerealkilla, do what we all do, google it.
or better yet, read the instructions you get with the custom xmb files.
but to point you in the right direction, the best way is to manually copy the needed files in your flash0 via recovery menu. just make sure you are using the right xmb with the right firmware version. not that it matters anymore. (can simply unbrick)
