I would like to ask if there is anyone in the Rosettenville/Regents Park area or Tulisa Park/South Hills area with custom psp's.

Hmm I Googled SA pages for something like this, but I can't find anything. Doesn't seem like something that many people would use here in Saffa, so I doubt people will import it to sell here.

:eek:I have been looking for one myself for quite a long time, and eventually saw one of these at a kodak stall in a pick n pay. The stall is in pick n pay steeldale but i'm sure you could find it at another one.:eek:
 
Hey guys. Sometime back I mentioned I had purchased this exact adapter you are talking about. It cost me R329.00 (ouch!!!) for a 1gb Micro SD card and three seperate adapters for MS Pro Duo, SD and Mini SD. I got it from Hifi Corp in Durban about 3 months ago. It is a Tekq, and I havent had any issues with it (yet). Perhaps with the decrease in price of the Micro SD, they would have dropped their prices, although that is highly unlikely here in SA where we get bled for every cent possible.
 
I don't think unbricking works with adapters and non-magicgate sticks. Plus the transfer rates are bad.

Admittedly the transfer rate when I am copying stuff to and from my PSP with the Micro-SD adapter is a bit slower than my original 512mb MagicGate, but I can definitely play ISO’s. Game play on all my personal backup games is the same as on my UMD’s, however the loading time in between stages, etc is a bit slower. I have never tested in game music using mp3’s, so I can’t comment on that, but actual game play is perfect.
 
Anyone know where to get a cheap 4gb genuine sandisk or sony stick and not online?
 
Is his prices competitive Kev? Would love to know how much he's askin' for a 4GB and 2GB.

I've got two PSP's with crappy mem. One has 32mb and the other 512MB.

*sighs*

My CW firmware psp is still bricked (my own stupidity) and I managed to get hold of a 2.01 psp to attempt to make a pandora battery.

Thinking the best way would be to downgrade from 2.01 to 1.5 and then from 1.5 up to CW...?

This the right way or am I being moronic?
