Connecting PSP to iBurst

Hey there again...

I currently have iBurst broadband (connected via ethernet from iBurst UTD to PC NIC)...what would be the cheapest way to connect my PSP to the net?

PSP Sales

The current PSP Sales figure are 29.25 Million units compared to the DS which has sold 63.65 Million units. I think this is quite an accomplishment for Sony seeing as the DS has been on the market quite a while now. Source.

Darkwater, you will need a wireless router for this so that you can connect your PSP to the net. If you are looking for a cheap solution, then go with a Gigabyte wireless router like the GN-BR01G.

It's easy to configure. Currently I just use mine so that I can VNC into my PC from my PSP, also to do FTP transfers between my PSP and laptop and to control my winamp from wherever I am in the house.

w00t w00t!

Yeah upgrading custom firmwares are easy. It seems installing them are getting super easy as well.

Can't I just buy a Dlink Access Point or something?

Nopers, an Adhoc connection like that doesn't work between the PSP and PC and won't give you internet access.

You should be able to pick em up for R500-R600.

well if you can have a ap with a usb dongle then you can bridge the connection and you can then go on the internet, but if your dongle dont have a access point software then no.

something different now

hey ppl, i have a fat psp on 3.52 m33-4. i wanna go up to 3.71 so i can use the "organ" xmb... anyone have a guide for this upgrade?

Finally borrowed an modded firmware from someone and created the pandora battery to downgrade my version 3.03. The strange thing is I upped his PSP to 3.71 m44 update 4, but when I used the Pandora battery, it flashed my PSP to version 1.5 which was fine as I manually upped it to 3.71 again.

The question I would like to ask can I use my Pandora Battery on a PSP slim, flash it to 1.5 and up it to 3.71 or will the version 1.5 Pandora Battery brick the PSP Slim?

PS. I upped the modded PSP to version 3.71 before creating the Pandora Battery, but it still flashed 1.5 on my unmodded PSP.
