no problems in games I have played since doing the space saving thing.
will try the mp3 thing when I get back home later.

triangle bring up the options, circle closes the mp3 player.
square bring up the visualization.

ok just avoid the custom music.rco file.I had a custom one and it F@#$ed up my mp3 player in the xmb.I spoke to zingaburga about it and he helped me out.
what happens is that a 2.5 firmware flash 0 that guys have been using to make custom xmb's messes up the mp3 player,lucky i had a back up of my flash0 files and reflashed the original back,I struggled for 2 hours tryin to find a solution,and zingaburga helped me fix it...ok no more ( music_main_plugin.rco ).This is a warning to some people,why do i have to always find the K@k out.But now i can post the faults
 
ok i still did not get my pops to work on 303oec.,theefor no psx emulation.
Anyone care to tell me what they did step by step,as i have done everything already,I just cant see why it doesnt work for me.
I got it once right a while back.I followed tutorials but still i dont get it to work,
I just want some one to talk to me every step that they took.

Did you put the PSX ISO's in the ISO or GAME directory? As they need to go into the GAME directory on the memory card
 
Yes, they need to be in the Game directory, and you need the keys file as well, and it needs to be in a folder in the Games folder. So use the games name as the folder name. Only on 3.10OE you won't need the keyes file.

If you have the PSX game images, and are making them yourself, I highly recommend using Simple Popstation. It r0x0rs my b0x0rs! You should be able to grab a copy of it from QJ.
 
I told you guys in the earlier post i followed all the instruction manual.So it pointless telling me where to put it as i have done all those things correctly..I am not a moegoe.I just want to go step by step.I do see my game in the xmb but when i click on it, it does not load.the screen just hangs there.I think its my psp firmware thats messing around .So any other advice.
 
update to my problem,I found the problem,I had to disable my pops in recovery menu for the psx games to work,Strange that i must do the opposite,its probably a gliche in my 303oec firmware.thanks for the advice but in the end /singing"i will survive "
 
This is why I don't like to play with the XMB recovery menu, you can easliy enable something that will disable a feature. I basically left everything on default in the recovery menu, and muh PSP is running super sweet.

It's sad that the Firmware modders have gone all quite. There isn't anything new from Dark Alex or the n00bz team yet. I wonder what they could be doing.
 
yes there is alot of new things check all the comps entrys like psphacks /neo summer coding2007/pxpcomp.
All entrys are very good.So there is still life.But like greg said on the psp-hacks.com site"has everthing been done to the psp hacks/cracks/mods is there nothing else,does this mean the psp coding is dying slowly..
 
I checked the n00bz website, and it seems they have been hard at work coding a driver for some iR keyboards. Go check out their site, I actually want one of those targus wireless keyboards now!
 
hey guys just a quick tip.if you fansy a picture and want to put it in the flash0 folder so that the wave can be in the back ground,just rename your pic to 01-12.bmp . Be sure that its a bmp picture and width and height the psp screen.It can be any size as long as you do have space on your flash0 folder.
her is a break down,Use photoshop for editing
width-480 pixels
height- 272 pixels
bit depth -24.
All you have to do with any pic you have is open it up in photoshop ok.
then resize the image to the height and width and say save as bmp,bitdepth-24 and then you done.
If you need help just post her or let me know some how.
 
THERE are 2 ways to do this.The easy way and the advanced way(easy to but risky for people that dont know alot about psp files and structures.
You must have custom firmware 303oec or 302oec,matbe 310oe also work.
the easy way is download a program called flash agent-get it at www. qj.net
follow instruction about installing this on your psp

the other way is go into recovery menu on the psp/advanced/flash 0
on the flASH0 PRES X WITH your usb cable in and the flash o folder will display on your pc( be very care full to not delete files from waht is displaed on your pc...you will semi brick your psp.
ok now take your file you created and put it in the vsh/resources folder.when you have done this correctly,it will ask you to overwrite the file,If windows dont ask you this,rather leave it alone.
you must be carefull.

Let me suggest something....If you have 303oec firmware just download the latest program THEME SWAPPER V0.3....THIS WILL GIVE YOU ALOT OF THEMES SO ENJOY.
A very easy program to use on your psp.try it ,
I recommend it that if you have 303oec you must have this app on your psp.
My rating for a brick is about o.oo25 %
 
okay, so i'm a n00b!! heck, I don't even have a PSP! why?
because PSP console and accessory availability in this country is SHOCKING!!!
I have been to 15 stores and contacted 2 online vendors.
NO ONE HAS STOCK!!
I have even bought games and movies online - 2 weeks later and still waiting!

At least I have time now to read the forum while I'm waiting...
maybe i'll join in your fun before xmass!!
