The original stories of the Chinese carrier in Tartus were debunked when they first appeared a week or 2 ago. The Chinese haven't sent it (it isn't even fully operational yet).

There are no Chinese naval ships in Syria, nor any Chinese military aircraft.

Latakia and Tartus are areas of Russian deployment, it's no wonder that they will be targeting the jihadis closest to their bases.

At least Russia openly state that they own the network; and are dishing out news. Whether it is 'propaganda' or not is perception.

Could well be Russian propaganda, but it would be nice if the other news agencies, that are "independent and unbiased" are also placed under the magnifying glass.

For example, fox news is a propaganda news agency owned by Rupert Murdoch.

In England, you can see that during the elections, with the threat of people turning their votes towards the labour party, almost all the news agencies there showed their true colours. Publishing on the front pages, not to vote for the labour party, and the fears of "repercussions" of doing so.

They came out, clearly biased.

So if you going to question things, question everything.

For every one of those jihadi's who dies, another 10 stands up.
 
Putin going all Gangsta in Syria to boost his ego is only going to prolong the inevitable, the fall of Assad, and cause more civilian deaths and fuel militancy around the world.

The issue goes deeper than that as each generation learns to hate from the previous one.
The young see their older relatives killed and are indoctrinated to grow up to hate, its an endless perpetual cycle.
I was 9 at the start of the Yom Kippur war (1973) and remember snippits off the news, nothing has changed, its only got worse, the middle east is still FUBAR, and i have no doubt it will be that way after i am no longer around.

Looks like Russia doesn't hold back. They ripping Syria a new one. Good to see some action at long last.
