The Devil in Putin will claim anything to appease the anti USA apologists, even lie that he is protecting christians. rather Sunni Muslims I would say.

Now, now I don't think Putin gives a fig over even 1 "exceptional" americans opinion of him but Obama does that's where all the lies come from

I do not like Obama for many reasons. But I do know who sides with the devil. ;)
 
Where are the anti-war protesters now?

Actually, the fact that the Russians' recent activity has been centered around reclaiming Aleppo makes a lot of sense. Doing so pretty much restores Assad's regime which is one of Russia's stated goals.

Once (if) they actually take control of the city, it will be interesting to see what the Russians and Iranians do next.
