Funnily enough, Sky News today were also saying there are no international agencies on the ground in the rebel areas of eastern Aleppo.

Even Reuters is saying there are no international agencies working in the area.

That's not Reuters saying it, it's Reuters reporting what the Russians are saying.

MSF has not been allowed to work in government-controlled areas since the beginning of the war, but it has been able to operate in areas under the control of the opposition, including in the rural areas north and east of Aleppo; in Maskan, between Aleppo and the Turkish border; and in Al Salamah, where it runs a hospital providing primary and secondary healthcare.

Yes, at the moment, because there's a freakin' siege going on.

Mercy Corps provides essential relief to approximately 570,000 people across Syria each month, including more than 75,000 people in Aleppo City alone.

Ashley Proud, Mercy Corps’ humanitarian director for Syria, spoke to Syria Deeply about the organization’s work inside the opposition-held areas of Aleppo

Not what that says. It mentions one of the things they do in Syria generally, which is partnering with local and diaspora groups. It says right there it's cross-border teams.

Red Cross is there, too:

https://www.icrc.org/en/document/aleppo-evacuation-could-take-days-thousands-people-need

So are these NGOs:

http://www.preemptivelove.org/6_things_to_know_about_the_aleppo_crisis
https://www.syriarelief.org.uk/news/syria-relief-inside-aleppo-city/

They make the (obvious) point that getting in is incredibly difficult during a siege, but they also deal with the Aleppo residents that are coming out every day.

So... what do you think about the points I made? Are the white helmets there or aren't they? Where does she get her credible info from?

tbh The only relevant NGO in Aleppo is Hizbollah.

Also the white helmets most likely transitioned into their true form to try stop their lines collapsing in Aleppo.

So why say they were? Just to try and further your own point of argument..

Nowhere does it say that any of their staff have been in eastern Aleppo over the last month or more. They fund things but don't have their own people on the ground.

No they aren't, read your own link

"There was firing before we entered East Aleppo for the first evacuation. Right up until the last minute, it wasn't clear we'd get in. A crane was used to remove some of the debris from the street so the ambulances and buses could get through. There were burnt out cars. Smoke rising from nearby buildings. There was a lot of fear and uncertainty," said Ms Gasser.

"When we arrived, the scene was heart-breaking. People are faced with impossible choices. You see their eyes filled with sadness. It was very moving. No-one knows how many people are left in the east, and the evacuation could take days. Working alongside the Red Crescent, we will continue to act as a neutral intermediary, and help as many people as possible who are in need," said Ms Gasser.

They arrived for the evacuations this week.

Nothing like scraping the bottom of the barrel with unknown groups who could have the same gravitas as the SOHR.

The white hats are entwined with the rebels, today a stretcher and a white helmet and tomorrow a black headband and an AK47...

Careful Dave, you're gonna end up on the list of deplorables.

Without trying to sound cold, that's war for you and this is nothing new. Innocents are simply pawns and cannon fodder in war time. Dresden is a good example of blowing thousands of children just like her to bits in order to demoralize the enemy.

There were no deliberate deaths of 7 year olds by strapping a bomb to them and detonating it when you felt the time was right...

Collateral damage can happen in any war, this was a deliberate cold blooded murder.

What Dave123 said

and

I'll accept jihadi apologists saying "that's war for you" when the Syrian army can do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PKOsawlnDY to the remaining rebel strongholds without being criticized.

lol, sure. Neat little premise whereby you can by definition not be proved wrong. Have fun with that.

Still no answer on where we're supposed to get 'credible info' from, from you or miss totally-not-an-RT-shill Bartlett.

Vile indeed. Much like the civilians executed by Assad's forces and Iranian militias.

Murder, much like being perpetrated by all sides in this war, surprising you decided to try and add some bias in and forget the absolute barbarity shown on the rebel side as well...

I just hate war. No amount of "but what about them" is ever enough to make it ok. "By any and all means necessary" is just what it is, ordinary men doing extraordinary things and possibly hating themselves for it in the process but knowing that war is just what is always has been and always will be: Ugly, brutal and often unforgivable.

Of course, it could actually be true. And the photo evidence in favour of that has been provided, so now it's up to you to explain why such a conclusion is not reasonable.

Maybe the point to all of this is that there is no credible info, really?

It is a war zone, you know.

But you see, OD has his particular prejudices, and the moment you threaten any of them, up comes the cognitive dissonance and the deflections.

I wonder what it takes for him to admit when he's mistaken.

Or just pretend he can't see it and continue as if it doesn't exist?

That seems to have been something said in that video along those lines I think (though I'm not sure anymore, there have been so many red herrings, false trails, pointing at clouds and whatbaoutism that it all seems a blur ;)).

I noticed the whole angle of attack was a little weird.

Christmas is almost upon us, it's the season for miracles, isn't it? :p

What do you think the "vile indeed" refers to?

An individual act that was under discussion in the post you quoted.

Your post came over as very biased, if it wasn't meant maybe you should read your words more than once before hitting the reply button...

lVile indeed. Much like the civilians executed by Assad's forces and Iranian militias.

Nice, I remember that twitter campaign. First it was the "last messages" then it was the "massacring of civies by iranian militias" now it's "they ambushed the buses filled with moderate civilians".

Strange how the "last messages" are still ****posting on twitter or that they've yet to post evidence of these massacres despite every retard in that place having a camera on standby.

Or just pretend he can't see it and continue as if it doesn't exist?
It's obviously not what we thought it was, you know?

It's not strictly related to this thread, but I'm sure you can sympathise with my frustration at having my concerns dismissed as fear of commies when in principle I'm actually OK with redistribution of wealth as a social welfare mechanism.

I noticed the whole angle of attack was a little weird.
Uncle Vlad and Uncle Assad are not part of the social justice vanguard, as far as I can tell. Their deplorable nature renders them unsuitable for any kind of benefit of the doubt.

Christmas is almost upon us, it's the season for miracles, isn't it? :p
Yup. I wouldn't be putting so much effort into this if I thought otherwise.
