Well hes done a check mate on himself there. After criticising Obama for being weak on the red line issue and for him to then declare Assad has crossed red lines, he has left himself with little options.

Russia Covering Up Assad's Poison Gas Use in Syria, Chemical Warfare Experts Claim

An Israeli expert on chemical weapons believes that forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar Assad used sarin gas in an attack on Idlib province on Tuesday . Dr. Dany Shoham, an expert on biological and chemical weapons, is also skeptical of the Russian claim that the regime struck a weapons depot which the rebels had been using to store poison gas.

Shoham, a researcher at Bar-Ilan University's Center for Strategic Studies, says there is a high probability that the agent that caused dozens of deaths in the town of Khan Sheikhoun was sarin nerve gas, though he concedes that it cannot be identified from photographs alone. Only chemical analysis can categorically identify the chemical, he says, but “the pictures are highly reminiscent of the event in 2013, when Assad’s army definitely used sarin and about 1,400 people, including children, died because of it. The pictures are really similar.”

Syria chemical weapons attack toll rises to 70 as Russian narrative is dismissed

Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, Hamish de Bretton Gordon, director of Doctors Under Fire and former commanding officer of the UK Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Regiment, said this claim was “completely untrue”.

“No I think this [claim] is pretty fanciful, no doubt the Russians trying to protect their allies,” he said. “Axiomatically, if you blow up sarin, you destroy it.”

“It’s very clear it’s a sarin attack,” he added. “The view that it’s an al-Qaida or rebel stockpile of sarin that’s been blown up in an explosion, I think is completely unsustainable and completely untrue.”

Hours after the attack, a hospital treating the injured was also hit. Images taken inside the clinic appeared to depict the blast as it happened. Photographs and videos taken at the scene and in evacuation areas nearby showed rows of small, lifeless children, some with foam visible near their mouths.

a quick read about the horrors of a real chemical attack would instantly make one question the very mild, quite possibly fake, video "evidence" of this one.

Oh you, escaped from kindergarten again to use teacher's laptop? Where did I deny the attack? WHERE? I say the evidence offered in that link is suspect, and it is, well unless you don't have the mental faculties to process things critically, in which case good luck in life ...

Have we established the gas was chlorine now? Who did the test?
Because without that talking about the affects of chlorine is rather pointless.

I'm sceptical of everyone, but I'll start with Russia. They have all the pie they can eat in Syria at the moment. They don't need an escalation or more attention to bomb whom ever they want, so they would be against using chlorine gas that would create a media storm.
Assad, the people in the liberated areas seem to be happy when they get liberated from Isis, he has no reason to escalate the situation as he is winning and he doesn't need more opposition from the west.
The only people with any real motive appear to be Isis or some rebel terrorist group that's currently losing the fight.

Go fly a kite, there was not one single child with foam, and multiple allegations from the white helmet terrorists claim it was Sarin gas, NOTHING in the video is consistent with Sarin fyi, it doesn't matter how many died, suffered, and what their ages were, it doesn't make the lies any more true.
