I think this show is going to be really REALLY good. I had a lot of faith in Woody, but although Matthew has done some good work before, I was not 100% sold. He is stealing the show however... with his intelligent, but tortured alcoholic character. I see he is a producer too.

I'm really interested to see what happened to bring them to the places they are finding themselves in the present investigation. Rust obviously went completely off the rails.

I'll just keep discussing this on my own :p

Rev. Billy Lee Tuttle seems rather suspicious. Think the political thing will become quite important in future episodes.

The new task team that the commissioner is setting up is going to be rather interesting...

Just finished watching the pilot. This series has got BRILLIACE written all over it!! Woody and Matthew as polished as I've ever seen from them!

I need to watch it again though, battled a bit to follow the early plot! They jump around quite a bit, between events from a single day to where the detectives are being interviewed which seems to be 15 years off from the opening scene!

Rust has got to be one of the most captivating characters in a series since, dare I say it, Walter White!! Matthew McConaughey at his very best!! What a performance?!!!!

CAN BARELY WAIT FOR E02!!!

Wonder who the cast will be in the next season? 7 episodes left to go... This season plays over 17 years.

Wonder if there will be a season 2? Looks like a one hit wonder to me...

The plan is for multiple seasons with new casts and new stories in each new season. Based on first reviews and ratings, this will certainly get a second and third season...

Fair enough. if Woody and Matthew maintain this standard for the rest of the series that will be almost impossible to top.

I watched yesterday afternoon. While it is good I believe some of you may be getting ahead of yourselves. :D

Each season is a different director and I think different story like American horror story

I suppose I am the only one that has taken the time of my busy schedule before work to watch the newest episode. I love this show. The characters are so imperfect, which is what makes the show so great.

I recently read a article on how lots of main stream actors are now being drawn to television because it allows for more depth and immersion in their character than a 2 hour movie.

So far I like this series - 2 episodes in and getting very curious.
