The truth about Openweb

Did you or did you not tell semaphore he has stockholme syndrome and straight after called him an Openweb defender? And then you told him you can't take him seriously and won't engage with him further. All for saying he's satisfied with his account and not willing to cancel it.

You might not want to hear it, but you've become the exact thing you just so recently applauded Necuno for pointing out. Maybe the Openweb defenders back in the day could give fundamentalist religious people a run for your money, but some of you here have reached a point where you're the opposite side of the same coin. You're religiously anti-OW.

I'm not sure you understand the term the way it was intended. Stockholm syndrome to myself and wingnut means the thought that there are not better alternatives out there. Nothing directly to do with OpenWeb.

I'm religiously anti anything that isn't ethical, deceit, lies, and you should be too. You clearly have no bearing on the situation. You just happen to be a student on a tight budget, getting 2Mbps speeds when you're paying for 1Mbps... And think you know it all. Pish.

no I told you to stop the damn kark back then also. it became a damn rhetoric with you. we all acknowledged what was going on but you had to bring it up throughout the day. im not senile I know ive met you. the warrior comment is your approach to anything you tackle. you have the same attitude when plasmas are discussed as well. what damn win exactly? you and your mob just got rid of the doctor and his associated clones. did you see OW response yesterday? nothing has changed. its business as usual. its probably better since lots of you have left. I couldn't care less what you think of my attitude. its caused by your constant pitchfork waving.

I'll never stop, and the fact that it is a fight for consumers makes it more than OK. Many will be thankful for the tenacity of others through the 'business as usual' repetitive lies and deceit. Look what's come of it, so much good. You're the only whiner, moaning against that which is for a good cause. Psst, use the ignore feature.

I'm still waiting for you to point out the better alternative. I have gone through them all. Mweb, Afrihost, Axxess pre Afrihost acquisition, cyber smart. All of them had issues. So what is your alternative hmm? Its got nothing to do with me loving OW, just the fact that I have not had issues with them like I did with the aforementioned suppliers.

Like i said to someone else, if you want to fight for the consumers take it to the CPA. Because currently you're like a whiny little chiwawa with no bite.

Not sure where you get that. If i log into my client zone i can see my usage for the month.

its quite strange. there's not even an active package in mine (only a pending package that's been upgraded from). nor any stats.

you really seem to be very lucky to be able to see your usage.

asked OW to fix my client zone on several occasions... only thing I get from them are rude responses.

in general I don't have problems with my downloading but during the day I cant open a webpage, gmail, facebook etc. thus rendering my account useless during the day. I did not sign up for an after hours account. OW cant understand the simple fact that you cant browse anything during the day.

I've also done ISP hopscotch. I'd rather not say who I'm with. I only do when I'm in a really good mood. ;)

My advice to anyone, look for the quietest ISP discussion threads.

Yep, I am lucky and everyone at my office with OW it would seem. :P

No need to look, as i don't have issues. But should i start having i will look around. So i'll keep giving my money to a corrupt company, doesn't that just infuriate you to no end?

Sorry mate, but no. You've reached a point where you're simply intolerant of any views that are not your own. Your little vendetta here is not so much because you feel you're really fighting for a just cause as it is you trying to harm OpenWeb as much as you possibly can.

It's clearly not enough for you to have left OpenWeb because you don't agree with what they're doing, but now you're actively trying to guilt other people into leaving them as well, despite the fact that they might be satisfied with the service they've received thus far.

While I'm not denying any of the allegations leveled at Openweb, they're still just allegations and I'm not going to leave an account that is great value for money because of arguments put forth by a lynch mob riding a bandwagon. We still don't have any concrete proof that Openweb is lying about buying capacity, not accounts, we still have no concrete evidence that they're lying about the account sharing stats being inaccurate and we've still got no solid evidence that Openweb accounts are subject to the IS star rating policy.

Now you're scraping the bottom of the barrel by telling me I think I know it all. Isn't this a bit ironic, coming from someone whose entire premise for his vendetta is built on a bunch of unconfirmed allegations? If you're so sure you're correct, why not take it to court? At the very least you've got a case of false advertising and Openweb can be forced to refund people their money for a product sold under false pretenses. It would also be very easy to email IS and confirm whether Openweb buys capacity or accounts from them.

No mate, sorry, but I'm not jumping on any bandwagons with you. There isn't a single ISP in this country which hasn't yet been hit by the hate bandwagon and which hasn't been called unscrupulous or unethical in its lifetime. If I had to cancel my account every time someone did it, I wouldn't have any ISPs to choose from.

You've honestly missed the ball with this one.

Mate, rage as much as you want, it doesn't change the fact that it's your word against Keoma's here. And you've clearly got a massive vendetta. Showing me a bunch of comments on an article isn't exactly proof of anything. The only drama to be had here is from you, who has been furiously sharpening your pitchfork and lighting your torch every day for the past few months.

Like I said, take it to court if you feel you've got such a strong case. You clearly seem to think you have damning evidence of OpenWeb's misdeeds, so do something about it. As for me, I'll continue to use an account that allows me to download in excess of 250gb a month without problems. At least, until such time as the account starts giving me problems, in which case I'll cancel and move to Crystal Web. :)

There's loads of evidence of shared accounts been presented, which kind of makes keoma's word a bit less valuable don't you think?

No, the comments are to emphasise the issues. You have not participated in the Feedback thread for months. We have. You have 1% of the knowledge we do.

You clearly have not read what I linked you to. It's no one's word against another's. It's fact. We proved that a person with an entry account and another with a higher tier/Gold account were given the same account details. They even happened to be colleagues at the same company. :D This was a massive turning point in the saga, we proved that account tiers are bunk, and it obviously reinforces the fact everyone knows that accounts are shared, which is easy enough to see.

As I said, you have missed the ball, and haven't a clue what you're talking about.

It's unbelievable how how you do not understand what you are being presented with. I don't think anyone can take anything you feel strongly about seriously anymore.
