He's the one advocating that people take out an advert. He shouldn't do that if he can't account for the failed attempts...

If anybody goes and Google's "OpenWeb" they are going to get a ton of feedback on the company, most of it negative.
There are plenty of threads here and stuff on HelloPeter to give anybody a fair impression of that company.
But the point is - it's up to the buyer to beware! CAVEAT EMPTOR!
I'm started to get the impression though that this is not so much about information, but rather about revenge.

I am not employed by MyBB. I am not even a spokesperson for them. I am a user like you.
I have no idea why they have refused CW. I can't comment on that.
That's between them and CW to sort out.
I'm pretty sure though that if CW took out an advert, it would not be to criticise OW.

I know that. However, you appear to be defending MyBB's actions with regard to OW partner content. I am calling you out on that (your defense), not on MyBB's actions.

I'm not defending anything to do with OW. They ripped me off to the tune of thousands of rands.
I have just as much reason to be p'd off as all of you guys.
But at least I have the brains to understand how all of this works in the real world.

I used to be a very vocal defendant for OW on these forums and I had personal dealings with the owner.
But when they were exposed I turned on them just like everyone else.
What they did was unjustifiable and indefensible.
But I don't expect rpm and MyBB to fight my battles for me.
There are hundreds of threads here about OW.
Let people read and decide for themselves.
Do your own homework before you take out a new ISP account.
Stop expecting everyone to spoon feed you.
Life doesn't work like that.
