Thanks to the ads more people are still being misled & falling in, paying & getting burnt at the end. And thanks to the calendar month's notice even after a few days of sign up and disappointment you will pay for that extra month. I've seen people so badly burnt they'd rather pay double their internet bill on their notice month just to move away from OW. I'm sure OW can afford to continue. Whilst on the other hand other providers are locked out from advertising on the same platform.

Simple, many fools in SA who think crap internet is normal. I know of one such OW customer, he just thinks it is normal, despite me telling him many times to cancel and move on. My parents are also such an example... trying to convince my old man that he will have better internet with Vox... its a moot argument...

If anybody signs up with OpenWeb without googling first, then they get what they deserve.

Google results aren't consistent between users. If I search for OpenWeb, the results are as follows:

1. (ad) OpenWeb.co.za - OpenWeb Fast ADSL‎ (openweb.co.za)

3. (In the news) OpenWeb extends its crazy Uncapped ADSL offer (mybroadband.co.za)

Many people don't go further than the first three or four results, I had to scroll down to see the complaint topics.
