The ugliest car around?

The more I look at the Multipla (one can only stare for so long before your eyes start bleeding), the more I think Fiat was having a laugh.

"Lets design and build he ugliest thing ever and see how many idiots buy it."
I don't think Roberto Giolito was in it for the larfs.

I usually agree wholeheartedly with your posts, but in this case you are so wrong it's laughable.
The new polo is the finest looking car around at the moment. I think mostly cause it looks like an Audi.

To each their own.

The previous generation is far superior.

The new one looks like a melting wax blob.

In red is about the only colour I can bear it.

Back when I was an apprentice panelbeater in Johburg some guy brought one of these into our shop.

It's a Renault Goelette something.

I think when the French design a motor vehicle they take a drive in the countryside and look at old barns for inspiration.

Not the ugliest cars EVER, but bloody hell I hated driving in these when I was a kid. Fought it was always so unfair....my dad gets to drive in his BMW while my poor mom has to drive us around in these pieces of sh*t.

When we lived in Springbok
A bit of a necro. You lived in Springbok? We almost were neighbours, we stayed in Nababeep 1970 - 1975. Then moved to Kathu. My late father was born in O’kiep. He worked for OCC, O’kiep Copper Company.

Well, almost .... by a decade or so. I was only born in 1983. hehehehe

But ja, I know those towns. Well, of them. Never really went there. Only time we ever left would be for Cape Town or Carnarvon and then it was a straight drive. No detours :)

Multipla. And Toyota stallion. What were designers hoping to achieve with a stallion? That thing was hideous, even during 'its time'.
The Stallion wasn't bad looking for what it was. It was the TUV replacement. The TUV was a boxy utilitarian ugly thing, bench seat, steel dash, tank was under the seat, no fan just a vent flap. Drum brakes all round. Terrible bare bones basic thing.
