will be doing a pulled pork soon. just need to source some nice pork butt. with a nice coleslaw. yes please!!

Your plan is so devoid of other goodies its criminal.

Wheres the chips, polony, steak and salad?

This meal isn't supposed to be health conscious.

are you high? if that's health conscious then the sky must be falling.

Now we're talking. Let it slow cook in orange juice, chicken stock, star anise, cinnamon, red wine vinegar, brown sugar and allspice for like 5 hours, or 3.5 hours in a dutch oven in the oven. Pull it apart then saute the pieces to get it crispy. Serve with this sauce:

1.5 cups apple cider vinegar
3/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
4 teaspoons (packed) dark brown sugar
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Simmer for 15 minutes.

(This slaw would be so good with it)

Man I'm suffering with this diet... :(

We use a nice dry rub and cook it in the slow cooker. Drizzle a bit of homemade bbq sauce on top and you're good to go. :)

that's how i usually do it. with frequent apple and honey mix spray.

No, it's not a very sweet sugar. It's close to molasses in flavour.

really. interesting. im yet to make my own barbeque sauce. i need to keep this in mind.

I think one of the biggest let downs of most sandwiches is that the bread isn't fresh and crisp enough, like just out the oven and still warm.

Lately I have been buying pre-made dough at Spar, R8 for large packet premixed.

Make your shape, burger bun, hot dog roll, baguette etc.
Then prepare the innards of your choice, I'll never buy pnp or pre-made rolls again.
