So I made a great tasting Dagwood over the weekend.

Slice of bread with:
Burger patty
Lettuce
Tomato ( fried)
Onion ( fried )
Mayo

Another Slice with:
Steak
Egg
Chips
Polony
Mustard and Tomato Sauce

Close with final slice and toast in Sandwich Press.

Does changing the methodology improve the taste or texture?

Would love to hear ideas on how to go about making great sandwiches.

change the sauce to bbq
remove the salad

the place i get a sandwich like this from does it
slice bread
patty
cheese
sauce
slice bread
steak
eggs
cheese
caramalised onion
slice bread

i remove the salad and chips on the side

Baguette with salami, olives, tomato, lettuce, cucumber. Thick butter.

1 meatlovers pizza.
250g bacon, fried.
250g mozarella cheese.
Cover pizza in bacon, cover in cheese, fold over. Done.

Some great replies.
Going to try Salami instead of Polony.
Some hate toward lettuce being heated in a sandwich press. Really not that bad at all.

Someone said exclude the chips but I think it's better to add some chips in the sandwich and some of it off the sandwich.

Doing another one this weekend. Will post some pics.

Your plan is so devoid of other goodies its criminal.

Wheres the chips, polony, steak and salad?

This meal isn't supposed to be health conscious.
