My daughter works for them. It's hard, direct marketing work, but rewarding. The Unlimited are huge, they are the new sponsors of the the Duzi canoe marathon, they also sponsored the youngest black person to go to the South Pole recently, also Zola Budd on her 1st comrades. Look at centurion cricket grounds, home of the Titans, massive advertising there as well.
 
My other half works there, the induction is strange it is more of a course where you learn about your "weaknesses" and"strengths" everyone has to do it. In the end it is a really good company to work for you just have to deal with those three days of finding your "weaknesses" and"strengths" which you are not allowed to discuss with anyone, all i do know was there was no dancing with chickens or anything really weird or degrading.

See that I kind of have an issue with.. I'm not there for some hippy feel good shyte, or to have some random person try and give me psychological mumbojumbo (esp when they more than likely aren't qualified to do so)... I am there to do a job and to earn a salary, induction needs to be about what the company does, how it does it, and to give you the correct tools to do your job.

In saying that though, I'm sure the company itself is just perfectly fine to work for after you get through the induction... IF you are not on the coal face at the call centres though.

I agree with you it is not something i personally would do, but if you want to work at The Unlimited you have to do it, you are told at the interview stage and it is non-negotiable as far as I am aware, but luckily I am just a rough and ragged construction worker so our induction is always to see who can drink the most beers without passing out...

Yeah....

Me I'm just an otherwise IT person, so if someone started doing my "strengths and weaknesses" crap I'd tell him to find a cliff and jump off it.

I'm not a Pinetown person by birth... I've had to downgrade myself due to the ridiculous price of property. I'm a Berea boy :D

Though, my part of Pinetown is quite nice, too many pubs and its nice and quiet.
