Hi there

I downloaded and upgraded to the latest version yesterday, running on OpenSuSE 10.3

I picked up a few things :

1. When right-clicking, it sometimes does not bring up the context menu, but rather either want to save the link as a bookmark, or download it.

So far that's the only funny I've picked up.

What are your experiences?

Regards

Libs

i cannot access my router anymore, have to use IE to do it

In Preferences, Advanced, Network, Settings add your router's IP to the "No Proxy for..." field and see if that helps. Only helps if you've got a manual proxy configured.

Otherwise, it's "Hau, eisch..."

I like it lots. Using FF3 under XP at work, and under Ubuntu at home. Both seem quite happy so far.

No major differences in the overall experience, although it may be slightly faster.

I get a lot of disk thrashing on some sites with ffox3 (notably wired and tomshardware)

I got quite a few crashes yesterday when accessing HTTPS sites.

Otherwise it is fine at the moment....

TL are you sure that you're not running an RC....cause the RCs caused very weird right-click behaviour on my PC. Mostly it just bailed on any right-clicks.

That happens to me as well in Ubuntu. I have to use the top menus to save or transfer anything.

I think I know what was happening. Firefox's download location was set to a folder on my C: Windows Partition which no longer exists.

Facebook is really really slow on FF but on IE its fine. Very strange
I have no probs. If anything facebook has gotten faster in FF3! I havent really used it in IE so I dont know how it compares to IE but im sure its better

No problems with it here Ook. Both OpenSuse and Ubuntu's just peachy :D :D :D

Love the new FF.

Hmmm, with 6 tabs on, mem usage is at 88Mb. Seems a little steep IMO. But that's about the most serious issue I've seen since I started using FF3

Tab Mix Plus is compatible with FF3 in its dev build. Much argument about whether this nearly-fine build should be released at the TMP forums.

I've had more crashes than I ever had with FF2.

My biggest complaint I download a database backup through phpmyadmin each day and FF3 corrupts these downloads :( In FF2 I never had one corrupt download and I downloaded a backup well over 1000 times in FF2 life cycle.

And the firebug extension hasn't been updated for FF3 :(
