The Unrest in Egypt Thread 2013

What about seriously? Both of them got RBPs from me, I see seriously's threat of violence got deleted.

Hahahah. Is that violence now hitting an avatar? Just a bad choice of words. I hate that sneer on the avatar, It plays tricks on my mind especially when [-]...[/-]Haldex posts.

Hardly but rules are rules, you should you read them.

Does not compute? Trying hard to become a moderator?

Please refer me to the rule that I could not refer that I wish to remove the sneer of the avatars face. I never said I want to execute violence against Haldex. I am not the violent type but of course some people's over excited imaginary minds would think or see differently. Also I do not like to get my hands dirty.

Back to topic. Haldex still failed to explain why he thinks it's not Palestinians

You have to wonder why jihadists would attack an area patrolled by tanks in their hundreds. I know they are perhaps just stupid but egypt put tanks and support there during the uprising, why would so many terrorists now flood the area knowing the egyians are waiting and watching for them.

Now they want israel to give them the go ahead to put thousands of troops in sinai.

Ok call me a tinfoil hat nutter but hear me out. Hamas are sunni group, al queda are a sunni group funded by saudi arabia who are sunni.

http://rt.com/news/uae-saudi-egypt-loan-849/

The US might pull aid while the saudi's give egypt 5 billion, now let's say the US are playing no role here and the saudi's are running the show israel should think twice about letting thousands of egyptian troops into the zone.

If i was running israel i would not allow it.
In the early 2000s, the largest backer of Hamas was Saudi Arabia
So sunni saudi funded groups are attacking sinai and why do they need to put thousands of troops in the area?

I think the saudi's are the biggest issue. Israel better give this some thought, saudi army is a power house and the egyptian army is one of the most powerful add to that the US seem at odds regarding this issue.

Call me a nutter but it seems sunni and saudi arabia seem to be linked. Saudi's moaned when israel struck syria but they are the ones sending in the likes of al nusra with good weapons and they want a regime change. Then onto lebanon get the sunni on top there as well.

Israel should have a look around and ask themselves are we getting surrounded by sunni groups funded by saudi arabia who just gave egypt 5 billion. How does the egyptian army feel about israel? Al nusra terror extremist group saudi funded, al queda Saudi funded, taliban saudi funded. So why are the saudi's funding these terror groups firstly, secondly it scares me that they are because they are extremists and not big mates of israel or iran.

What is the role of the US now i wonder, did they know what was going to happen in egypt? If they didn't perhaps they need look at saudi arabia and how much terror they fund and think, hold up a second and israel may think o great we are working together. fascinating scenario.

Terror in the middle east is saudi funded basically. 911 more than likely saudi arabia. I would believe that over the taliban and osama bin ladin organizing it from caves.

Killa. Is that really you? You are confusing Haldex.

I get your drift. You do not trust the Arabs? You thinks they just want to get in and then turn against Israel? Can't wait for it to happen!

Haldex i have seen what happens when dictators fall, there is chaos, that has led me to believe if the israeli's give the palestinians freedom they won't be peaceful, look around the region. Peace is not generally something you see that often, remove a dictator, civil war or car bombs if the sunni's are the minority.

Seriously i never said arabs i said saudi arabia and sunni movements, no idea about the egypian army but if a country is pumping 8 billion into egypt the army is likely to be friendly with them and support them. Haldex i have always maintained my opinions are based on what i see, i don't have this attitude that israel are bad and everyone else are victims. I am not a supporter of anyone, looking at the situation as it is i would not be trusting of the egypian army if i was israel. Seems odd sunni militants suddenly flood sinai and then egypt is trying to get israel to agree to them putting thousands of troops there.

Saudi's are trying to get rid of assad, then they will move into lebanon and take over with extremists groups leading the charge. I am a bit worried about a country who is funding terror. I used to think the US and the CIA were involved with al queda but i don't believe that anymore. I am just not certain whether the US knew about the coup in egypt or not. To me it looks as if they didn't. Obama and the west are backing sunni terror groups funded by saudi arabia. They are supporting their enemy in my opinion.

Just saying saudi arabia's funding of terror groups that are extremely brutal groups would worry me.

The real Killa is back! :D

No you don't get it dude, the west are backing the wrong people and they don't realize it. They are arming their enemies with the latest weapons and have built saudi and egypt armies in a big way. I am not saying my opinion is correct but are israel willing to risk it i wonder.

Most of the egypian army should be sunni, the only thing bothering me is whether the US know that the worst terror groups are funded by the saudi's. Who now have a sunni army who want to put thousands of troops in Sinai.

I do get it. I agree fully agree with most of what you said but I think tho they (USA) do realize it but also knows there are little alternative apart from getting directly involved and get everyone on their back again. So they opted for change but whether it would be in their favor is irrelevant as the previous regime were against them anyway. The fact that it hurt the locals is of less a concern for the USA but there are always the possibility that things could pan out differently or better in the long run thus breaking the existing statu quo.

Wow i have been looking at america as the problem, meanwhile they support saudi arabia so they are part of the problem.

Now i know why sunni's are divided, i always wondered why sunni's seem divided now i know why. Scary stuff the saudi's are teaching on a global scale.

Have a look at what the saudi's are teaching.

Command Muslims to "hate" Christians, Jews, "polytheists" and other "unbelievers," including non-Wahhabi Muslims, though, incongruously, not to treat them "unjustly";

Don't bother, Killa.
He's given up on intelligible discourse.

(PS I hope you feel as frustrated by him as you made us feel for so long :D)

Not at all bro, i respect his opinion. I am not here to convince him of anything nor do i want to convince other people. Perhaps i was like haldex but i always maintained that my opinions vary and can be changed.

I just heard or read on aljazeera the US funded the uprising, so the saudi's and american may be in bed together. So make no mistake i am not off the anti american thing. I do however see that israel should be worried that the palestinians won't be peaceful. Whether that is right or wrong i dunno but if i look around when given freedom all that happens is killing. So i am still anti israel government not just for the Palestinian issue but i don't like benjamin and the fact they can target other nations at will. I do however understand Israels problem with the palestinians.
