The upside!

Problem is.... Minister of Defense is a very important role....

The ANC is somwhat still (quite) militant, even more so now with Malema.

Who knows what will happen....

I just hope they have PROPERLY EDUCATED people in key positions... Education, Health, Public Works, Communication, Defense, Safety and Security and Finance....

:(

Lost cause, I fear...

Kasrils is a joke, actually the whole of gvt is a joke. Alec Irwin as well should be in jail for lying to SA on numerous occasions. There is not one minister who should be there, dont even mention Trevor, he ok'd the arms deal so he is just as guilty

No-one even mentions it....

There is no upside.

The Workerists and Charterists have won. Read their agenda in last Friday's Mail & Guardian - it's codespeak for Mugabeconomics, and it will destroy the country if implemented.

Most Whites will be co-opted by a serious attempt to address crime and corruption, and everyone will rejoice and say Zuma's great. But it will be a cover to launch a program of massive state intervention in the economy, all in the name 'development', 'greater equality', and 'coordinated and focused' state action in everything from land affairs to food production to energy and resources control. As capital dries up and the currency crashes, the rhetoric about 'selfish' and 'counter-revolutionary' capitalsts will grow shriller and shriller. Increased state control be slipped under the cover of widely trumpeted moves against 'incompetence and corruption', and we'll doubtlessly see lots of show trials of corrupt officials - as is the standard tactic of demagogues and populist dictators ... it's all done in the name of The People, protecting jobs and 'ensuring the peace and prosperity' of The People. To the acclaim of The Masses, many corrupt officials will be brough to book, but in reality these will be political purges. Massive state intervention in the economy will be the order of the day.

Within a decade we will have a Million Rand note. It will buy what Ten Rand does today.

Am I the only one that thinks these ministers will be replaced by more incompetent fools?

It seems that alot of you think educated people will fill the positions... lol.

Last time I checked the ANC appoints it's ministers not on their credentials and education but rather what they did in Apartheid.
