Does anyone know if someone is an Apple's Premium Reseller their contract mandates them to repair Apple products under the global Warranty?

I've heard of some friends taking their non-ZA 3-month old Macbook that failed to an iStore and they're refusing to repair it because it was not sold by them.

This surely must be against the terms and conditions of being a country representative for Apple?

I really wish this stupid Core Group would go away its such a useless place with daylight robbery and the most incompetent people on the face of this earth.

Not sure how legal it is that they claim they only honour repairs on Apple products bought from them seeing that they are an Apple Authorized Service Provider and nowhere on Apple's site do Apple claim or proclaim that Apple Authorized Service Providers are obliged to only repair products bought directly from them.

Like this bit for instance on Apple's website:

"Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will replace the screen on eligible Apple Watch units that exhibit this type of crack, free of charge. " I contacted iStore on their Online Chat and asked them if they do any screen repairs on the Apple Watch Series 3 and they said no they can only do a quote on a replacement which is totally BS according to me, but yeah that is big company's for you. I wish their status of Apple Authorized Service Provider can/will be taken away from them as they don't adhere to any of Apple's repair policies it seems
