Okay guys...so I actually own a 2010 Caddy 1.6i 'panel van'...which I've never actually driven, 'coz it was purchased for my associate to use for animal welfare purposes...now it's done ~240k kms & been in/out for repairs for the last couple of years. Apparently there's something majorly wrong with the electrics...they said it was something to do with the harness, but now it's apparently something more serious. The vehicle is still driveable, but there are limited/no info on the dash, and the some lights go/off randomly. Repairs are quoted for R30k, but we're now considering selling the vehicle....now after checking on the market a bit -prices are just insane; I mean for any kind of replacement vehicle. So I'm just wondering if anyone here can maybe give some advice/direction on whether/not to go ahead with the repairs & try to sell? Then maybe what replacement to look for? Or if anyone maybe is/knows somebody in auto-electrical who could maybe take a look at the vehicle? TIA
edit: we're in Cape Town
