The VW Caddy Thread

I like Caddies, used to regularly drive either the diesel long-wheelbase or petrol standard version on a daily basis. Then had a small stint in both the Opel and Peugeot, bleh. An unloaded turbo diesel Caddy moves…

Can't argue with the performance, they are very quick with or without a load in the back.

I believe the Caddy is the best panel wagon in SA, though I know GM has very attractive fleet options which ups their commercial vehicles. It is a sorry that we don’t have the smaller Ford Transit in South Africa… however I see it listed on the Ford.co.za website as a future commercial.

It's out in SA.

VWSA persistence with that old 1.6 N/A motor...at least it's under stressed.

Do the TDI variants come with VW's new hush money voucher?

But it looks like the current Caddy? Some clues as to what is new perhaps?
Have a read at the full press release on the NCS link; it doesn't look the same. I can clearly see styling differences & enhancements on the exterior as well as interior.

The interior in particular looks a great deal less van-like (referring to the Trendline & Alltrack models)

Love the caddy so versatile for lugging stuff around and as comfortable and we'll appointed as a polo.
