Just watched the scene where he gets pulled under the water.
Good couple of seconds to get bit while under.

I can't get through the middle of season 4, its a bore fest. Is it worth pushing through and is season 5 really that good? or is it that rinse and repeat formula that they have used?

Yes it defintely is worth it. There are some tense scenes in the last half of season 4. Like the episode with Rick when he was alone in the house. I'm not sure sure why people have a dislike to that specific season. I enjoyed it.

Season 5 is much much better yes.

The scene with the flowers and the little girl, and the butchery scene were quite harrowing. Enough to make me question if I want to continue watching.
