The Walking Dead [SPOILERS]

Not that I watch normal TV anymore, but I read that Fox on Dstv will air new episodes of The Walking Dead season 4 within 24 hours after it airs in the US. I'm impressed.

Well done to them, however, I will be watching the same episode within 2 hours (as apposed to 24) the one in the US ends in 1080p quality (as apposed to 720p on Dish), plus I will have a copy of it on my PC to watch whenever I want to again (as apposed to having it stuck on some PVR decoder).

+1

But I really don't care when I watch it, as long as I watch it. I watched episode 1 last night. Insane!!!

Yep, brand new episode of season 4 TWD is on Mondays at 22:00. Ep 1 was a great season opener. Loved the scene in the supermarket! Those zombies are really vrot now.

Season 4 has caught up with me, I didn't manage to finish S3, watched episode where Guvnor lost an eye and had to remove the rest of S3 as pvr ran out of space.

Did I miss much?
I want go right to S4

i need to rewatch the ending of season 3. seems like they moved on quite a bit from what i had remembered from the ending.

*SPOILER ALERT*

A few key characters died - Merle, Laurie (in childbirth kid survives), Andrea (at the hands of the Gov). The Gov goes crazy, attacks the prison, but the attack goes awry and on the way back he shoots his own people (one survives and is picked up by Rick and the gang). The Gov disappears. The prison group takes all the Govs people in at the prison.

I didn't really enjoy episode 2 of season 4. Was expecting a lot more. Oh well i guess that how these next few episodes are going to go.

Why? I thought that episode 2 was amazingly good. it introduces a lot of new interesting mysteries which is something totally new! I have good feelings that S4 is going to be the best season of the series.

I'm actually finding season 4 to be a bit slow and disjointed...

season 4 has been better than the season 3 thus far.

They have gone back to survival against walkers and I'm enjoying it thus far :D

This :) I'm so happy to say that I have absolutely no idea as to where this season is going, unlike the previous 2 seasons. Characters in peril 24/7 is always good for this show. Has anyone guessed who is the mysterious zombie feeder?

its the kids who were naming them, I reckon.

S4E02 spoiler alert:

Highlight this text:

I doubt that because the zombie feeder we saw at the beginning of episode 2 seems to be as tall as the adult zombie whose face was shined on by the flashlight.

It's pretty clear that the rat feeder wants to bring the fences down. I can't see why the girls would want to do that because their chance of staying alive would be reduced instantly to almost 0 when the fences get down.

I just felt it was a bit slow. Maybe because as you put it, it setup some of the new mysteries.

Yep, watched ep 2 last night -pretty good. So, Michonne is human after all. The scene with her and the baby was quite touching (if you're a parent you'll understand).
